Dining

The restaurants at Constance Prince Maurice offer a delicious range of Mauritian-influenced and international cuisine. There are four bars and you can taste one of 25,000 exclusive wine bottles in the Indian Ocean’s largest wine cellar. Choose from three gourmet restaurants: The Archipel and Beach Deck Restaurant, the Asian Restaurant and Le Barachois (Mauritius’ only floating restaurant, offering fusion cuisine with an accent on seafood). Culinary treats and activities such as cooking classes, wine and dine pairing dinners and the Princely breakfast are also available at Constance Prince Maurice.

Le Barachois
This floating restaurant, unique on the island, is open for dinner and offers daily specials including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.
Le Barachois, located above the water of the natural fish reserve, enjoys a spectacular preserved setting on the lagoon and a panoramic view of a mountain range.
The restaurant comprises of fix decks, each accessible via a wooden pathway.
Le Barachois entrance via a snaking gangplank through the mangrove trees adds a magic spell to the place.
The restaurant offers daily specials including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.

L’Archipel
L’ Archipel restaurant, located in the hotel’s main building, overlooks the pool and the beach.
In an elegant setup, partly open-air on nature and water basins, it offers an ‘à la carte’ menu with light, spicy flavoured gourmet food.
An Asian Theme Evening serving a fantastic selection of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indonesian and Indian cuisine.
There will also be a slight Mauritian influence – for example there is ‘Mauritian flavoured Maki’ as a starter.
The restaurants is opened daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Beach Deck
The Beach Deck restaurant is situated on a wooden deck located near the beach.
All the furniture is made of iron designed with much skill.
The Beach Deck is open with an à la carte lunch menu and hosts special events on specific evenings.
