Jeremy has a lifelong passion for travel and, thus far, and across a mix of leisure travel, gap-year travel, and business travel and tour leading has visited 57 countries in 6 continents.
Jeremy co-founded and was a Director of leading Latin America and South East Asia long-haul tailored experiential travel specialist Revealed Travel and owner of the former brands www.centralamericarevealed.co.uk / www.southamericarevealed.co.uk / and www.southeastasiareevaled.co.uk and along with Latin America and Indochina is also an expert in travel to Saint Helena and Antarctica.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, Revealed Travel was forced to close – but Jeremy is delighted to now instead be partnering with The Earth Trip to help develop and manage their emerging and growing Latin America and South East Asia offers.
Jeremy stated that “Places like Costa Rica, Belize, Peru, Ecuador & Galapagos have a lot in common with The Earth Trips’ core original destinations such as Sri Lanka and Madagascar offering a wide variety and mix of local culture, ancient history, colonial legacy, stunning wildlife, soft adventure, wonderful gastronomy, and tropical beaches. Thus, there was an obvious synergy with The Earth Trip and the old Revealed Travel and it was a natural next step to bring my destination expertise and Tailor-made travel sector experience to The Earth Trip so that together we can benefit The Earth Trip clientele and help them travel to a wider horizon than previously The Earth Trip had been bale to offer“.

Jeremy has been a long time member of the Latin America Travel Association (LATA), along with his partner Ali (who used to live in a number of Latin American countries) he sponsors a Guatemalan young girl – and in a 30 year international publishing, media and broadcasting career prior to working in travel used to report on the region so is very committed and vested in Latin America and has travelled extensively himself across both Central and South America.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

International travel; gastronomy and cooking; reading (novels, biographies, history, social affairs, newspapers & magazines, social media, and poetry); news & current affairs: politics, human rights, sustainability, ‘third world’ & developing economy issues; technology advances; listening to radio 4 and podcasts; the arts – across theatre and cinema, museums and galleries, concerts, and dance. I enjoy listening to a wide range of music (jazz, soul, funk, gospel, RnB, country, folk, indie rock, classical and opera) plus I play the piano. I also undertake sport including cycling, squash, and skiing – and I am an avid Manchester United fan, and enjoy watching England play cricket, rugby, and football.
